"Our son Isaiah was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. When Isaiah started 1st grade in Bismarck, we started Mentor Support Services through Pride, Inc. Isaiah is now 14 years old and in 8th grade at Wachter Middle School. Pride has become such a huge part of not just Isaiah's life, but our whole family's life as well! Through the years we have developed friendships that will last a lifetime.
For the past two years, Isaiah has had a 'one of a kind mentor' named Shane Reinbold. He has always had Isaiah's best interest at heart, and we could tell from the beginning they would be a great 'mentor match'. Shane works with absolute patience when with Isaiah, even during times of behaviors that were not so favorable, he has always been there to support Isaiah in his time of need.
Most recently, Shane arranged a tour of Milton R. Young Power Plant (Isaiah is fascinated with power plants) and just went above and beyond his 'employment' obligations for our son! We are blessed to have Shane Reinbold in our lives, he has made such an impact on Isaiah that I am confident will last a lifetime!
Thank you Pride and thank you Shane!"

"Hi Michelle,
I just want to give a gigantic amount of praise to Jani, her crew, and to you. KH could not have been given a better experience on any other housekeeping crew as he was given at Ramkota. You are all fantastic!!"

"Good morning Shantell,
I want to pass along a pat-on-the-back for Kelsey Diede, one of your staff members who brought several people to the Halloween dance last night at the Eagles.
At the end of the dance, the dance was over, the dance floor cleared and we board members were busy taking down chairs and cleaning up near 10pm when an attendee from Mandan came rolling into the room in his wheelchair. We thought all the dancers had gone, so were surprised he was still there. He told us he was waiting for Transit (big surprise, huh?). HIT Logo
I went out to the lobby, and there were five people still waiting for a Transit ride. One of them I knew as a HIT client and I knew two of the others (brothers), but didn't know the other two. I was mentally preparing for a showdown with Transit and trying to figure out how we might help these folks get home when I saw Kelsey there, already on the phone with Transit trying to figure out how to remedy the situation. One of the five, it turns out, was a woman served by Pride, who had come there independently but whom Kelsey knew because she worked with her at times.
Instead of just heading home at the end of the night, Kelsey recognized the woman from Pride, took ownership of the situation, took the time to figure out who the other four individuals were, called Transit and made sure everything was covered. Since I came on the scene late, I had the privilege of watching her interact with the dispatcher (she was very professional) and with the individuals, one of whom neither of us knew and whose garbled speech was unintelligible to us, so we couldn't even get his name. Kelsey was very caring and professional. I was very impressed that this young woman not only took ownership of a situation in which she had no responsibility, but also handled it very well and saw it through to its conclusion.
Just wanted to pass that on to you. Kelsey is a gem!"
