On Call RN

Pride, Inc. has an opening for an On Call Registered Nurse with some of our youth programs.  

This position provides guidance and information as a consultant to the interdisciplinary team and team members regarding preventive health care and specific health needs of individuals served.  The nurse serves as a liaison between the agency and health professionals in the community. The nurse provides input into the review of all agency health and medical needs.  This position is responsible for working with children who have an emotional disturbances. Provide on call for evenings, weekends, holidays, or other scheduled time, according to Title 42 and/or State-Federal licensing regulations.  

 Duties:

Identify the current and acute health needs of identified persons served through systematic assessment.

Complete necessary paperwork, including but not limited to medical referral forms, update medication history(s), medication sheets, maintain accurate medical information, and attend medical appointments.

Participate in on call as scheduled

Qualifications:

Minimum of a BA\BS Degree in Nursing

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in ND

At least 2 years experience in nursing, psychiatric experience preferred

 

Human Resources Coordinator

Pride, Inc. is looking for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator.  This position is responsible for Pride's human resource functions.  The person must have: good written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of pay and benefit trends; understanding of the law, ADA, EEOC, Affirmative Action, HIPAA, FMLA; Profit Sharing Plans,; and coaching and counseling team members.

Duties:

Ensure availability of qualified team members by helping with recruiting, selecting, and training appropriate workforce.

Complete and track necessary employment paperwork for new team members

Administer, monitor, and track a competitive compensation and benefits program

Monitor written policies/handbook compared to standard practices and make recommendations for changes.

Supervise the team trainer

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Social Work, or related fields.

Experience working in the HR field preferred

DD Certification preferred

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred     

 

 

Program Coordinator

Pride, Inc. is looking for a full-time Program Coordinator.  This position ensures outcomes promoting the preferences, growth, well-being and autonomy of the persons served, based on the interdisciplinary process and the standards of The Council of Quality and Leadership.

Duties:

Complete a Self Assessment annually with each individual to determine personal outcomes for this individual.

Facilitate all plan meetings to discuss a strategy in implementing the personal outcomes as stated in the individual=s self assessment.  As a facilitator, the PC is to ensure that the least restrictive, most appropriate plan is in place to meet the needs and desires of the individual requesting services.

Act as a liaison to family members/guardians, team members, and outside entities to ensure continuity and satisfaction of services is a priority.

Complete documentation and required monthly site visits
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social/Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Education or related fields.

At least 1 year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.     

At least one year of experience in working with the Personal Outcome Measures established by The Council is preferred.

 

Production Supervisor

Pride, Inc. has an opening for a full-time production supervisor.  This position is responsible for assuring the timely and accurate completion of all work production activities, as well as quality control procedures.  This position will supervise delivery of services by direct staff.  

Duties:

Assist with completing and maintaining performance measurement records, assuring completing on a timely basis.

Directly supervise direct support professionals

Complete and maintain performance measurement records, assuring completion in a timely manner.

Implement new, revised, innovative production methods and/or aids.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in industrial technology, industrial arts preferred

Two years supervisory experience preferred

DD certification preferred

 

DSP - Federal Contract

Pride, Inc. is looking for a part-time crew instructor at a federal location.  This position will work Monday through Friday and the hours begin at about 4:30 pm and end about 9:30 pm and works five days on and five days off.  This position may require work on holidays.  This position is responsible to guide, demonstrate, and assist each individual served and ensure proper planning; scheduling, training, quality control and safety procedures meet employer satisfaction.

Duties: 

Carry out an on-the-job training program for all areas of contracted responsibility

Responsible for completing all paperwork in a timely manner

Responsible for scheduling individual work schedules, monitor work procedure, and the efficiency and thoroughness in work performed.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent

Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record

Must pass a Federal Clearance Background Check

One year experience in the human service field preferred

 

Residential Supervisor

Pride, Inc. has an opening for a full-time residential supervisor.  This position is responsible to supervise delivery of residential services by direct staff.  The Residential Supervisor will ensure services are provided in the least restrictive manner that enhances the program philosophy of normalization and empowerment of people to make their own decisions even when some risk is involved.  

Duties:

Train team members following the training guide

Evaluate team member's performance in accordance with Pride's policy.

Supervise the documentation of results and progress.

Serve as a positive role model for staff and people served

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or related Human Service field preferred

One year supervisory experience preferred

Two years in the Intellectual Disability field preferred.

 

Youth Mentor

Pride, Inc. has openings for part-time positions.  This position is responsible for the direct delivery of services to children living in the community to preserve the integrity of the family unit.

Duties:

Implement the objectives and supports of the Care Plan

Promote integration into the community

Promote social relationships

Complete documentation of activities

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent, preferred

Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred.

 

DSP II

Pride, Inc. has some openings for a few full-time Direct Support Professional 2. The Direct Support Professional II shall promote the growth, well-being and autonomy of people served while serving as a resource for DSPs during the Residential Supervisor’s absence.

Duties:

Provide direction and leadership on shifts ensuring all team members are completing all duties when on shift.

Ensure that all documentation, including MARs, IFRs, and other forms are being completed timely and accurately.

Maintain open communication and cooperation with the Residential supervisor regarding team member concerns, shift concerns, etc. while maintaining confidentiality regarding personnel concerns with other team members.

May be required to work at locations other than primary work location.

Qualifications

Must have been employed with Pride, Inc. for at least 6 months.

Must be DD Certified thru Minot State University

At least 1 year in the Intellectual Disability field preferred.

 

DSP - Sleep Nights

Pride has a couple of openings for some part-time and full-time DSP sleep night positions. These positions are responsible for the direct delivery of services to people living in their own home and to assist the person's integration into the community.

Duties:

Implement the objectives and supports of the Plan for the Future

Be informed and adhere to medication policies

Promote integration into the community

Promote social relationships

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience working with people with disabilities preferred

Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record

Direct Support Professional - Manchester

Pride Manchester is looking for a part-time direct support professional.  This positions requires performing duties associated with the daily care and welfare of children with severe emotional disturbances living in a residential treatment facility, including family and transitional support services.

Duties: 

Provide a safe, warm, responsive, and nurturing environment

Assist residents to de-escalate in an appropriate manner

Consistently implement treatment and behavior plans

Initiate or follow planned activities and participate in activities.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent

Preference given to individuals with experience in working in mental health or with children who have severe emotional disturbances and their families.

Direct Support Professional - Hope Home

This position requires performing duties associated with the daily care and welfare of children with severe emotional disturbances living in a residential treatment facility, including family and transitional support services.

Personal Care Attendant

Pride Wilton, Inc. is looking for a part-time overnight personal care attendant. This position does work every other weekend. This position is responsible for the direct delivery of services to people living in the homes and to assist the person's integration into the community. The PCA will implement the Care Plan and shall promote the growth, well-being, and autonomy of people served.

Duties: 

Have a good working knowledge of the people living in the home and any psychiatric and/or medical diagnoses, and in order to have sensitive understanding to their needs.

Implement the objectives and supports in the Care Plan using prescribed methods and (teaching techniques if any) as delineated in the plan.

Clean the restrooms

Prepare breakfast

Qualifications:

Minimum high school degree, or equivalent, preferred

Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred

Will be required to become a Nurse Aid with the State of ND and a Med Aid I.
