PROGRAM COORDINATOR (Residential)

This position ensures outcomes promoting the preferences, growth, well-being and autonomy of the persons served, based on the interdisciplinary process and the standards of The Council.

DUTIES:

In keeping with the values and philosophy of Pride, the person filling this position may occasionally be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the specific duties listed on their Position Description.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 EDUCATION

 Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social/Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Education or related fields.                                                            

EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.    

At least one year of experience in working with the Personal Outcome Measures established by The Council is preferred.

 Direct Support Professional

 Pride, Inc. has full and part time openings for Direct Support Professionals.

Duties include but are not limited to supporting individuals with disabilities to complete daily living tasks as well as helping individuals become active members of their community.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid driver's license.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

DSP - Awake Nights

Pride has a couple of openings for some part-time and full-time DSP sleep night positions. These positions are responsible for the direct delivery of services to people living in their own home and to assist the person's integration into the community.

Duties:

Implement the objectives and supports of the Plan for the Future

Be informed and adhere to medication policies

Promote integration into the community

Promote social relationships

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience working with people with disabilities preferred

Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record

 

DSP - Sleep Nights

Pride has a couple of openings for some part-time and full-time DSP sleep night positions. These positions are responsible for the direct delivery of services to people living in their own home and to assist the person's integration into the community.

DSP II

Pride, Inc. has some openings for a few full-time Direct Support Professional 2. The Direct Support Professional II shall promote the growth, well-being and autonomy of people served while serving as a resource for DSPs during the Residential Supervisor’s absence.

Duties:

Provide direction and leadership on shifts ensuring all team members are completing all duties when on shift.

Ensure that all documentation, including MARs, IFRs, and other forms are being completed timely and accurately.

Maintain open communication and cooperation with the Residential supervisor regarding team member concerns, shift concerns, etc. while maintaining confidentiality regarding personnel concerns with other team members.

May be required to work at locations other than primary work location.

Qualifications

Must have been employed with Pride, Inc. for at least 6 months.

Must be DD Certified thru Minot State University

At least 1 year in the Intellectual Disability field preferred.

 

Youth Mentor

Pride, Inc. has openings for part-time positions.  This position is responsible for the direct delivery of services to children living in the community to preserve the integrity of the family unit.

Duties:

Implement the objectives and supports of the Care Plan

Promote integration into the community

Promote social relationships

Complete documentation of activities

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent, preferred

Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred.

 

 

  

Direct Support Professional - Manchester

Pride Manchester is looking for a part-time direct support professional.  This positions requires performing duties associated with the daily care and welfare of children with severe emotional disturbances living in a residential treatment facility, including family and transitional support services.

Duties: 

Provide a safe, warm, responsive, and nurturing environment

Assist residents to de-escalate in an appropriate manner

Consistently implement treatment and behavior plans

Initiate or follow planned activities and participate in activities.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent

Preference given to individuals with experience in working in mental health or with children who have severe emotional disturbances and their families.

 

Direct Support Professional - Hope Home

This position requires performing duties associated with the daily care and welfare of children with severe emotional disturbances living in a residential treatment facility, including family and transitional support services.

LPN/RN WILTON

Pride, Inc. is seeking an LPN or RN to work at its basic care facility, Redwood Village, located in Wilton, ND.  This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility, depending on the applicant’s hourly requirements.

Job description: 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring of the health and wellness of the residents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; overall well-being of the residents; supervising and training of team members; communication with all resident support services and families; quality assurance; and regulatory compliance. The candidate will complete any required training and become knowledgeable in Pride Wilton, Inc. philosophy, principles of service, policies and procedures, and state regulations.

Areas of Responsibility:

1.       Resident health and wellness.

2.       Regulatory issues.

3.       Facilitate communication.

4.       Quality assurance.

5.       Medication supervision.

Qualifications:

Maintains a current ND state license as a Professional Registered Nurse, or an LPN.

One-year experience in long term care, assisted living, or health care.

Possesses good judgement, problem solving, decision making and time management skills.

Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people.
