 REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE/RECEPTIONIST

This position is responsible for is the coordination of applications and maintenance of state and federal benefit programs for persons served. This position will provide Rep Payee services to individual accounts. This position will serve as a front desk receptionist.  This position will cross train to serve as a Direct Support Professional in emergency situations.

 DUTIES

The primary responsibility is to promote the growth, well-being and autonomy of the individual served.  The RP will ensure that the served individual’s preferences are adhered to when assisting with medical appointments and choosing medical personnel.

Complete all Rep Payee services, including but not limited to maintaining accurate bank account balances, contacting individuals as needed.  

Assist the individuals served in obtaining and maintaining all available financial assistance including Social Security, SSI, food stamps, Medical Assistance and Housing Assistance; thereby ensuring continuity of funding.

Complete front desk receptionist duties including but not limited to, greeting visitors, answering telephone calls and receiving and distributing mail.

Attend agency staff meetings, participate in agency sponsored in service training, and       independently enhance personal/professional development by reading and attending job-related workshops and classes.

EDUCATION                                                                                   

Minimum 2-year degree in accounting or business preferred

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of mathematical procedures and Business English sufficient to read and complete financial benefit forms. 

Two years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

One-year experience in the human service field, preferred.

 Direct Support Professional

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience working with people with disabilities preferred

Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record

 

DSP - Sleep Nights

DSP II

Pride, Inc. has some openings for a few full-time Direct Support Professional 2. The Direct Support Professional II shall promote the growth, well-being and autonomy of people served while serving as a resource for DSPs during the Residential Supervisor’s absence.

Duties:

Provide direction and leadership on shifts ensuring all team members are completing all duties when on shift.

Ensure that all documentation, including MARs, IFRs, and other forms are being completed timely and accurately.

Maintain open communication and cooperation with the Residential supervisor regarding team member concerns, shift concerns, etc. while maintaining confidentiality regarding personnel concerns with other team members.

May be required to work at locations other than primary work location.

Qualifications

Must have been employed with Pride, Inc. for at least 6 months.

Must be DD Certified thru Minot State University

At least 1 year in the Intellectual Disability field preferred.

 

Youth Mentor

Pride, Inc. has openings for part-time positions.  This position is responsible for the direct delivery of services to children living in the community to preserve the integrity of the family unit.

Duties:

Implement the objectives and supports of the Care Plan

Promote integration into the community

Promote social relationships

Complete documentation of activities

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent, preferred

Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred.

 

 

  

Direct Support Professional - Manchester

Pride Manchester is looking for a part-time direct support professional.  This positions requires performing duties associated with the daily care and welfare of children with severe emotional disturbances living in a residential treatment facility, including family and transitional support services.

Duties: 

Provide a safe, warm, responsive, and nurturing environment

Assist residents to de-escalate in an appropriate manner

Consistently implement treatment and behavior plans

Initiate or follow planned activities and participate in activities.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent

Preference given to individuals with experience in working in mental health or with children who have severe emotional disturbances and their families.

 

Direct Support Professional - Hope Home

This position requires performing duties associated with the daily care and welfare of children with severe emotional disturbances living in a residential treatment facility, including family and transitional support services.

LPN/RN WILTON

Pride, Inc. is seeking an LPN or RN to work at its basic care facility, Redwood Village, located in Wilton, ND.  This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility, depending on the applicant’s hourly requirements.

Job description: 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring of the health and wellness of the residents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; overall well-being of the residents; supervising and training of team members; communication with all resident support services and families; quality assurance; and regulatory compliance. The candidate will complete any required training and become knowledgeable in Pride Wilton, Inc. philosophy, principles of service, policies and procedures, and state regulations.

Areas of Responsibility:

Qualifications:

Maintains a current ND state license as a Professional Registered Nurse, or an LPN.
